Vintage Miniature Dollhouse 1988 Olszewski Goebel Minton Rooster Bronze Figure This enchanting, vintage, RARE and hard-to-find handmade miniature bronze figurine called "Minton Rooster" is long retired and is dated 1988. It was made by the talented miniature artist, Robert Olszewski along with Goebel as part of his Historican series and is a perfectly scaled replica design portraying the renowned ceramic figurine produced by the prestigious Minton pottery in England. This rooster has intricate, lifelike details, vibrant colors . It has a hand-painted finish and would make a wonderful conversation piece for a display case, curio cabinet or shelf. Olszewski pieces take up to 50 sessions of hand painting to complete. His figures are wonderfully scaled to display with furnishings in 1:12 scale. *This listing includes the hand-painted figurine shown, as described. This amazing collection of treasured pieces will take some time to list, but they are worth the wait. The 1980s through the 1990s were one of the most interesting time periods in the miniature market, so many artists making their debut...this collection was curated during this time by going to shows, writing the artists and boarding planes to retrieve their long awaited treasures. To have the opportunity to share this one of a kind collection is something miniature dreams are made of (for me)...rarely do I keep more than one item from each collection, but this one is the hardest of all to let even a single piece go, you will see what I mean shortly...enjoy them all as they are all one of a kind and made by some of the most wonderful miniature artisans in the world.
